Mechanic-Grounds II
Job Summary
POSITION SUMMARY
Maintain property vehicles tools and equipment including checking oil tire pressure/wear and other preventative maintenance. Maintain maintenance inventory and requisition parts and supplies as needed. Maintain daily logs of operation maintenance and safety activities. Track status of open maintenance issues using computer log book or white board. Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts power and manual pallet jacks four-wheel carts and two-wheel dollies dock plates and roll-up doors. Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects.
Follow all company and safety and security policies and procedures; report any maintenance problems safety hazards accidents or injuries; complete safety training and certifications; and properly store flammable materials. Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information. Welcome and acknowledge all guests according to company standards anticipate and address guests service needs assist individuals with disabilities and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Speak with others using clear and professional language. Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others and listen and respond appropriately to others. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; and identify recommend develop and implement new ways to increase efficiency productivity quality safety and/or cost-savings. Move lift carry push pull and place objects weighing less than or equal to 25 pounds without assistance. Visually inspect tools equipment or machines. Reach overhead and below the knees including bending twisting pulling and stooping. Move over sloping uneven or slippery surfaces. Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
License or Certification: Valid Drivers License
