About the role:
We are looking for a handson brand partnership expert to drive UPI growth cobranded creditcardand other features we launch onGPaythrough deep integrations with online merchants highimpact sporting events and food/grocery platforms. To design incentive mechanics negotiate and execute fullfunnel merchant integrations and own the partner funnel from onboarding to first transaction all with strong analytical rigor and a growth mindset.
What you will be doing:
- Act as the primarypartnerPOC for merchant alliances media agencies to drive card & UPI adoption.
- Design and prototype reward constructs (streak-based benefits contextual/triggered offers time/occasion-based boosts) to increase activationtrialand frequency.
- Drive negotiations and integration scopes that deliver winwin outcomes (merchant app integrations promotional placements cobranded experiences).
- Define and trackgrowthKPIs (activation rate conversion to first transaction repeat usage transactions per user incremental ROI) and deliver regular performance reports.
- Collaborate crossfunctionally with product engineering analytics marketing and legalto implementtrackingexperimentsand campaignmeasurement.
- Run experiments A/B tests and rapid iterations on partner mechanics and reward constructs to maximize ROI.
- Identifyand prioritize new partnership opportunities (sports sponsorship activations seasonal campaigns channel synergies) to scale adoption.
- Operational Versatility: Support broader PMM workstreams as needed including GTM coordination and cross-functional project management beyond social channels
What you need to be great in this role:
- 7years experiencein Growth Strategic Partnerships or Alliances at a consumertech startup or large consumer internet company.
- Demonstrated experience negotiating and executing merchant or channel partnerships preferably with major food/grocery or commerce players.
- Strong analytical skills comfortable with cohort analysis funnel modeling unit economics and handson use of Excel/SQL and experimentation data.
- Product and marketing sensibility: ability to design incentive mechanics that drive behavior change and measurable outcomes.
- Proven ability to own endtoend initiativesoperateautonomously and manage multiple stakeholders acrossorgs.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills;
- Bias for testingspeedand iterative improvement.
- Passion for and inquisitive about AI andnew technologies
- Understanding and knowledge of AI tools is beneficial but ability to learn and digest benefits and features of AI tools is critical
