Area Business Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for recognizing potential hazards during critical maintenance activities and coordinating safety requirements through work permits LOTO implementation and JSA reviews to ensure full compliance with SH&E norms.
• You will be responsible for planning and monitoring predictive preventive and shutdown maintenance of electrical systems and utilities maintaining good housekeeping and ensuring availability of critical spares while minimizing consumption.
• You will be responsible for performing equipment qualification and validation activities preparing documentation in line with ISO cGMP USP ISPE IBR and ISO 8573 guidelines.
• You will be responsible for operating and maintaining HVAC systems including chillers compressors cooling towers and boilers as well as ensuring smooth functioning of central water distribution operations.
• You will be responsible for implementing and maintaining control and automation systems performing frequent backups and identifying new areas for automation to reduce downtime.
• You will be responsible for troubleshooting breakdowns performing CAPA using RCA Why-Why and incident investigation techniques and ensuring MTTR and MTBF benchmarks are met.
• You will be responsible for training team members on basic maintenance procedures and tools monitoring computerized maintenance systems and supporting lean initiatives such as 5S Kaizen and Autonomous Maintenance.
• You will be responsible for coordinating small project modifications with plant leads initiating purchase requisitions inspecting received spares and supporting budget estimation and forecasting for departmental activities.

Qualifications :

Educational Qualification

Diploma / Graduation in Mechanical Electrical Engineering or related field is mandatory.

Minimum Work Experience

3 / 6 years of experience.

Critical Exposures

• Experience in operating and maintaining utility systems (HVAC compressed air steam) / water systems (Purified Water WFI water treatment plants / boilers) across Pharmaceutical FMCG industries / OEM is desired.
• Exposure to monitoring and responding to utility alarms and troubleshooting system issues to maintain optimal system performance is preferred.
• Experience in preparing and maintaining documentation including maintenance logs and operational checks for utility/water systems is desired.
• Exposure in energy efficiency projects and utility upgrades and automation initiatives (BMS SCADA) is preferred.
