DESCRIPTION

As the Senior Account Manager you willbe responsible forsupporting the Account Director withtheclient relationshipandday-to-day management of workflowswhich includesownership of all aspects of workensuring quality output and growthfor our will partnerwith allfunctions ofour clientbusinessandare responsible forbecoming a trusted resource providing support neededidentifyingnew opportunities solving challenges and optimizing processesalong the way. You understand the role design thinking plays in consumer conversion and the impact of great creative production and retail positionreportstothe Account Director andwillbehybrid/on-site withour client inBoston MA2-3 days per week.

COMPETENCIES:

ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT

  • Operate asamainpoint of contact for matters specific tothe client
  • Build andmaintaintrustedrelationship with customers and key stakeholders
  • Continuouslyoptimizeworkflows and processes and uphold energetic environment
  • Ensuretimelyand successful delivery ofprojects and greatersolutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Oversee all marketing production and design includingRetail POS DigitalVideoSocial Outdoor and internal needs when needed
  • Coordinate and contribute to strategicportionof projects including brainstorming sessions and preparation of presentation decks
  • Communicate clearlythe progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives tomanagement
  • Identifyand grow opportunities within territory and collaborate withmanagementto ensure growth attainment
  • Contribute to proposal development to expand our client engagement by supportingadditionallines of business
  • Contribute to quarterly or yearly business review materials and meetings

CLIENT SERVICE/COMMUNICATION

  • Build client relationships andsupport internal team both on and off-site
  • Demonstrate a strategic vs executional approach to project management ensuring clients businessobjectivesare met
  • Lead project kick-offs brainstorming sessions and client meetingswith confidence and authority ensuring smooth project workflow in conjunction with internal team members and client
  • Write briefs in conjunction with the clientand/or creative teamalign ondesignobjectivesand design intent. Ensure the designs presented align with the approved briefs
  • Provide strategic direction/rationale and quality check on all design work to ensurehigh standardsare met error-free
  • Liaise with client and team to resolve client issues and project related concerns

BUDGET & FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT

  • Develop proposals to support large/complex projects or account growth
  • Provide estimates based on client brief adjust estimate based on project scope change and ensure invoicing is donein a timely manner
  • Oversee project budgets ensuringaccurateforecasting tracking andreporting of expenses.
  • Manage scope changes ensuring proper approvals and communication with clients.
  • Support the Account Director in preparingforecastsaccount profitabilityreportsand financial summaries.

KNOWLEDGE BASE

  • Demonstrate understanding of clients brands and how each projectsobjectivesfit into the overall brand strategy
  • Demonstrate understanding of agency design and brand building tools

LEADERSHIP

  • Act as first point of escalation for any new opportunities orissuetrouble-shooting
  • Provide internalleadershipto account management teamaround pricing projectstructure agency processesinternal/clientcommunicationsandaccount updates
  • Acts as SME onclient updates opportunities processesand brings these back to internal teams

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelorsor better in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 5âyears experienceas an Account Manager in a design / creative environment; 2 years as a Senior Account Manager highly preferred.
  • Client on-site experiencehighly preferred
  • Broad-spectrum agency experience highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization including executive and C-level
  • Experience inproposing and deliveringclient-focusedsolutionsbased on customer needs
  • Experience in tracking and reporting project and/or account-level revenue (internal) and budget (external)
  • Experience in mentoring or managing others in a team leadership role
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
  • Excellent listeningnegotiationand presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Proficient using PC platform and Mac OS Microsoft Word Excel and PowerPoint (or Keynote)

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $82000 USD - $92000 USD annually. Ultimately in determining pay we will consider the successful candidates location experience and other job-related factors.
