- Schedule Type: Rotating Days
- Weekends/Holidays: Occasional as required
Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Donor Care Specialist to support blood collection donor screening and specimen handling while ensuring compliance with regulatory and quality standards. This role also supports donor engagement and delivers excellent patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform donor screening and blood collection (including phlebotomy)
- Collect label and process blood specimens accurately
- Maintain records data entry and compliance with safety/regulatory standards
- Support onsite and mobile blood drives
- Manage supplies inventory and maintain a clean work environment
- Assist with donor recruitment and provide excellent customer service
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Phlebotomy experience required
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and computer skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced setting
Preferred
- Phlebotomy certification
- Blood bank or donor services experience
