Job Summary
Born out of lockdown and the suffocating atmosphere it brought Le Média Positif aims to highlight the most positive news to break away from fatalism and encourage action ! Today we have a community of 11 million followers (France United States United Kingdom Spain Italy Africa) and are present on all social media platforms.
Our English-language medium The Bright Side has over 2M followers on Instagram & TikTok.
Having reached a crucial stage in our development we are continuing our international expansion by gradually establishing ourselves in the United Kingdom and the United States of America. Both media and startup Le Média Positif is currently looking for a Video Journalist for The Bright Side !
Role objectives :
Youll lead your stories with autonomy :
1. Find the story
Monitor global news and trends spot inspiring angles
2. Write & structureCraft compelling scripts build engaging narratives prepare your shoots
(topics : innovation society environment human stories)
3. Shoot
Produce vertical video content (9:16) independently or with a small team
4. Edit & deliver
Edit your content and adapt it to each platform : TikTok Instagram Reels YouTube Shorts LinkedIn
Who you are :
Background in journalism media or communication
Fluency in English with flawless grammar and storytelling ability
Solid understanding of short-form video and social media formats
Proficient in using editing tools such as Premiere Pro CapCut ...
Autonomous reliable curious and driven by meaningful stories
