Job Title: Program Manager (Document Management System - EDMS/ECM)

Job Description:
As a Program Manager focused on Document Management System - EDMS/ECM you will lead program activities to assess current document workflows identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements that reduce manual effort and increase accuracy. You will oversee enterprise document intake and lifecycle operations leverage automation with AI/ML to improve classification and routing and serve as the subject matter expert for document management technologies while ensuring compliance with policies and regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of document management professionals and establish program governance with SLAs KPIs and metrics.
- Assess current-state workflows and design future-state processes to streamline intake classification routing and archival.
- Oversee document intake across multiple channels and ensure compliant classification indexing routing and storage.
- Serve as the SME for document capture and routing technologies and their integration with content platforms.
- Manage and optimize electronic document and content management systems including taxonomy metadata and access controls.
- Implement AI/ML-driven automation for document classification OCR NLP and data extraction with continuous improvement.
- Coordinate cross-functional activities manage timelines and provide executive status reporting on risks and outcomes.
- Quantify and report automation benefits such as reduced manual effort error rates and cycle times.
- Evaluate emerging document intelligence solutions and recommend upgrades or adoption.
Required Skills Experiences Education and Competencies:
- Extensive experience with enterprise document management and content platforms and capture technologies.
- Proven leadership managing teams and operating program governance with SLAs and KPIs.
- Strong background in business process analysis and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Hands-on experience designing and integrating automated document routing and capture solutions.
- Practical experience applying AI/ML to document classification OCR and data extraction.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical designs and communicate to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience coordinating vendors IT teams and compliance partners.
- Strong analytical reporting and stakeholder management skills.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.
The hourly range for roles of this nature are $50.00 to $80.00/hr. Rates are heavily dependent on skills experience location and industry.
