About the Role
A leading construction firm is seeking an experienced Preconstruction Manager to play a key leadership role in delivering high-quality projects. This individual will oversee all aspects of the preconstruction phase-from early concept development through final estimating-while driving collaboration across internal teams clients and design partners.

What Youll Do
- Lead preconstruction efforts including budgeting estimating scheduling and planning
- Partner with owners architects and internal teams to deliver seamless project execution
- Develop accurate cost estimates and provide ongoing budget updates throughout design phases
- Identify value engineering opportunities and manage project risks proactively
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients subcontractors and stakeholders
- Guide and mentor team members fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture
- Ensure alignment on safety quality and financial goals across all projects
- Support proposal development presentations and pursuit strategies
What You Bring
- 7 years of experience in preconstruction construction or a related field
- Background working with a commercial general contractor
- Experience managing projects ranging from $2M to $35M
- Strong knowledge of estimating cost control and project delivery methods (design-build hard bid etc.)
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage client relationships
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex concepts
- OSHA 10 certification (or willingness to obtain) plus First Aid/CPR certification
