Required skills and experience:
Good organisational and datamanagement skills with high attention to detail.
Ability to interpret technical documentation such as SDS regulatory lists and compliance reports.
Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with suppliers customers and internal stakeholders.
Proficiency in MS Office especially PowerPoint and Excel.
Ability to work independently prioritise tasks and manage deadlines in a compliancedriven environment.
Problemsolving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
Knowledge of chemical safety legislation and regulatory frameworks (REACH CLP COSHH) (helpful).
Strong technical understanding of SDS content and creation processes.
Experience in industrial manufacturing or engineering environments is an advantage.
ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
As the Chemical Regulatory Coordinator youwill be responsible for ensuring the safe compliant and efficient management of all chemicals used by our customer in their facilities. This role oversees chemical inventories maintains accurate records and supports adherence to regulatory environmental and customer requirements.
Key activities:
Maintain and update the Chemical Management Systems with the most current and accurate Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemical products.
Communicate with suppliers to obtain required information including Safety Data Sheets compliance documentation and completion of technical questionnaires.
Generate and review Chemical Management Systems reports to identify products containing substances listed on REACH Candidate Lists Authorisation Lists or other restricted materials.
Develop update and deliver PowerPoint presentations to provide customers with clear visibility of chemical compliance progress and ongoing regulatory actions.
Conduct site visits as required to verify that local chemical inventories are accurate complete and compliant with internal and external requirements.
Create Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and COSHH assessments where required ensuring alignment with regulatory standards and site-specific chemical controls.
