Position Overview
The Implementation Project Manager leads and manages complex technology-driven implementations that support Zelis products platforms and client delivery initiatives. This role is responsible for delivering large-scale data-intensive projects involving system integrations client-specific configurations and cross-functional coordination across internal and external teams.This individual is accountable for end-to-end execution scope schedule quality and delivery outcomes while also bringing strong technical and data fluency to effectively lead projects involving integrations data transformation and platform configuration.
What Youll Do
Lead moderately tohighly compleximplementation projects involving multiple systems integrations teams clients and vendors.
Define project scopeobjectives success criteria and measurable outcomes; translate business and technical requirements into executable project plans.
Serve as the primary point of contact for all project stakeholders including clients internal teams and external IT partners/vendors.
Manage cross-functional teams and coordinate dependencies acrossImplementationITProduct QAPaymentOperations Client Delivery and vendor organizations.
Build and manage end-to-end project plans including schedules milestone tracking and executive-level reporting.
Oversee implementation activities involving data integrations file exchanges and system configurations ensuring alignment across technical and business teams.
Partner with client IT teams to understand system architecture data flows and integration points and incorporate this understanding into project planning and risk management.
Ensure alignment and readiness for data mapping transformation validation and testing activities across systems.
Manage scope and change control processes including assessing impactstotimeline cost and resources whilemaintainingalignment to businessobjectives.
Identify assess and mitigate project risks includingmilestone delaysdata quality issues integration dependencies and technical constraints; develop contingency plans to ensure successful delivery.
Facilitate stakeholder engagement ensuring clear communication alignment andtimelyescalation of risks issues and decisions.
Ensure high-quality deliverables and successful transition of projects to production support and operations teams.
Drive collaboration accountability and transparency across teams to ensure alignment anddeliverysuccess.

What youll bring to Zelis:
Education/Experience:
Bachelors degree;Mastersdegree preferred.
5 years of project management experience with a strong focus on technology implementations client onboarding and system integrations.
Proven experience delivering projects across Agile Waterfall or hybrid methodologies; able to adapt approach based on project complexity and stakeholder needs.
Demonstrated success managing large complex data-driven implementations in a fast-paced client-facing environment.
Working knowledge of data integration concepts including APIs SFTP batch processing and file-based exchanges (e.g. XML flat files).
Experience working with data mapping transformation and validation processes and understanding how data flows across systems.
Experience working with vendors consultants and third-party technology providers to deliver integrated solutions.
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders including senior leadership.
Proficiencyin using tools such as Jira Confluence Smartsheet or similarplatformsto support project delivery and cross-team collaboration.
Proficiencyin using AI tools to enhance project delivery (e.g. planning documentation reporting and analysis).
What makes you stand out:
Experience working in healthcare insuranceorfinancial services
Familiarity with healthcare data formats and standards (e.g.X12 837/835).
Experience overseeing or supporting data mapping documentation and integration specifications.
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise system integrations.
Basic knowledge of SQL or data querying to support validation and troubleshooting.
Preferred Certifications
PMP (Project Management Professional) or equivalent certification preferred.
Agile certifications (e.g. Certified Scrum MasterSAFe) are a plus.
