Whats the role
As a Senior Experience Designer you will join the Business Lending portfolio on a 12month fixed term contract supporting workflow automation and complex banker and operations experiences. This role suits an independent designer who can navigate complexity seek clarity proactively and deliver highquality outcomes with minimal handholding. You will lead handson design across workflowheavy initiatives translating complex processes policies and operational constraints into intuitive usable experiences.
Additionally youll partner closely with product engineering and subject matter experts to frame problems facilitate workshops and drive alignment through codesign. You will work with research and data to validate assumptions refine solutions and help teams move from ambiguity to clarity maintaining momentum while raising risks early and supporting informed decisionmaking.
You will own your work end to end contributing to consistent quality outcomes design patterns and scalable documentation. Youll also use AI responsibly as a practical advantagesupporting synthesis exploring scenarios and edge cases improving documentation quality and strengthening decisionswhile applying sound judgement empathy and experience to ensure safe usable and compliant outcomes.
What do I need
- Strong experience as a Senior Experience Designer delivering complex digital products end to end.
- Experience designing complex enterprise workflows with exposure to banking or regulated environments considered an advantage.
- Business banking or business lending domain experience is highly regarded.
- Experience with Appian or similar workflow / BPM platforms is desirable.
- Experience using AI within design workflows to support synthesis scenario exploration documentation quality and decisionmaking will be a nicetohave skill.
- High level of independence with the ability to seek clarity unblock yourself and maintain momentum in ambiguous environments.
