Job Summary
Franklin & Marshall College invites applications for a visiting position in the Department of Sociology beginning August 2026. The rank will be Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor depending on qualifications. The teaching specialty is open but preference will be given to candidates with experience teaching the sociology of gender and introduction to sociology and the potential to offer additional courses that enhance our current offerings. Appointment is for nine months per year (August - May). This position is not eligible for employment visa sponsorship. Applicants should possess or be close to completing a doctorate in Sociology. Teaching experience required. Teaching load is 3/3.
