Job Summary

What youll be doing

As a Total Reward Specialist youll play a key role in shaping and delivering a compelling reward offering across McDonalds UK & Ireland. Sitting within our People team youll help ensure our pay benefits recognition and wellbeing programmes remain competitive inclusive and aligned to our Employee Value Proposition.

Youll partner closely with colleagues across Corporate and Operations as well as external providers to deliver reward solutions that make a real difference to our peoples experience.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing and evolving our employee benefits wellbeing and recognition programmes to ensure they remain attractive and market-competitive
  • Designing and implementing new reward initiatives that support engagement and retention
  • Leading key recognition streams across the business and supporting broader recognition activity
  • Managing the employee discounts and engagement platform
  • Supporting the ongoing management and annual review of restaurant bonus schemes
  • Providing support in the governance and management of pension and associated benefits
  • Producing insight and reporting on reward activity including benefits take-up and trends
  • Partnering with HR leaders and stakeholders on reward-related projects and the annual reward cycle
  • Providing specialist reward advice to employees managers and HR Business Partners

Youll bring:

  • Proven experience within Reward Benefits or Total Reward
  • Confidence handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and turn insights into clear messages
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects and working to deadlines
  • High attention to detail and a proactive organised approach
  • Strong capability in Microsoft Office particularly Excel
  • The ability to work cross-functionally and build trusted partnerships
