Job Summary

The Warehouse Picker is a crucial part of our distribution team responsible for accurately and efficiently picking materials and products from warehouse locations to fulfill customer orders and support production needs. This role requires attention to detail adherence to safety standards and a strong commitment to quality and productivity. Other related duties as assigned. Your work hours will be from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm; occasional overtime as needed.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
Activities may include but are not limited to:
Accurately pick and retrieve materials from warehouse locations based on picking lists
Prepare and package orders for shipment ensuring proper labeling sealing and documentation
Support the outgoing freight process
Maintaining high productivity rates to meet daily shipping deadlines
Survey items for possible damage or defects before shipment
Meet or exceed established productivity and accuracy standards for picking activities
Keep the warehouse floor organized and clean
Communicate effectively with team members supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth workflow.
Keep products separated organized and in good rotation.
Assist in loading and unloading trucks or moving materials to different areas of the warehouse as directed.
Other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Proficiency in basic computer skills is required.
Ability to read write and understand basic instructions in English
Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
