Inviting applications for the role of Senior Principal Consultant Data Engineering (AWS Databricks PySpark Airflow)
We are looking for a seasoned Senior Principal Consultant Data Engineering to lead the design and delivery of scalable data platforms on AWS. This role requires strong expertise in Databricks PySpark and Airflow along with the ability to drive architecture mentor teams and engage with stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Architect and build scalable data pipelines and lakehouse solutions on AWS
Lead development using Databricks (Delta Lake) and PySpark
Design and manage workflows using Apache Airflow (MWAA)
Define ETL/ELT frameworks data models and best practices
Optimize performance reliability and cost of data platforms
Collaborate with business and technical teams to deliver solutions
Provide technical leadership code reviews and mentoring
Ensure data quality governance and security standards
Support solutioning and client engagements
Qualifications we seek in you!
Minimum Qualifications
Relevant years of expirence in Data Engineering / Big Data
Strong hands-on experience in:
oAWS: S3 Glue EMR Lambda Redshift Athena
oDatabricks (Delta Lake preferred)
oPySpark / Spark SQL
oApache Airflow
Strong programming in Python and SQL
Experience with data lakes lakehouse and data warehousing
Knowledge of ETL/ELT design patterns and data modeling
Familiarity with CI/CD and Git
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills
Strong communication and stakeholder management
Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
Experience leading teams and large-scale data initiatives
