Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced IT Release Manager to plan coordinate and manage end-to-end release cycles across complex IT environments. The role focuses on ensuring smooth secure and high-quality releases aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule releases based on business requirements scope and timelines
- Coordinate release activities across multiple teams and third-party stakeholders
- Manage the end-to-end release lifecycle including build testing deployment and review
- Ensure releases meet quality security and compliance standards
- Communicate release plans progress and outcomes to stakeholders
- Identify and manage risks and issues with appropriate mitigation strategies
- Conduct post-release reviews and drive continuous improvement
- Maintain release processes documentation and governance standards
- Manage release strategies such as staged pilot blue/green or feature-based releases
Key Requirements:
- Strong experience in release management within complex IT environments
- Proven ability to coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- Experience with release governance risk management and compliance
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Familiarity with modern release strategies and DevOps practices
- Experience in enterprise or government environments preferred
