Job Title: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Rehab / Long-Term Care
Location: Newark NY
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift (5x8 hours 10:00 PM 6:00 AM)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support patient care in a Rehabilitation and Long-Term Care (LTC) setting. The CNA will assist patients with daily living activities monitor patient conditions and support the healthcare team to ensure quality care.
Key Responsibilities:
Patient Care
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing grooming feeding and toileting
- Support ambulation transfers and repositioning of patients
- Provide skin care oral care and hygiene assistance
- Assist with incontinence care and catheter care
Clinical Support
- Obtain and record vital signs (BP pulse temperature respirations pulse oximetry)
- Monitor and report changes in patient condition
- Assist with specimen collection and documentation
- Support infection control and isolation precautions
Mobility & Equipment
- Safely use equipment such as Hoyer lifts wheelchairs transfer belts and specialty beds
- Assist with range of motion exercises and positioning
- Maintain proper body mechanics during patient handling
Requirements:
Experience
- Minimum 1 year of CNA experience required
Certifications
- Active CNA certification required
