About this Opportunity:

Reporting to the Director Business Services the Commercial Lines Advisors primary responsibility is to focus on the management and retention of the commercial accounts with the opportunity to service new business. The book of business will consist of various commercial risk types.

Performance Objectives:

• Achieve the established individual growth and objectives as outlined annually by the Director Business Services.
• Focus on all parts of the business ensuring optimization of every cross-sell and upsell opportunity.
• Ensure the retention and growth of an assigned Commercial Book of Business; ensuring all customer and book management requirements are managed including but not limited to renewals endorsements and cancellations.
• Professionally courteously and efficiently service the commercial insurance needs of new and assigned clients. This includes handling the required day-to-day workflows performing coverage reviews including outlining additional coverages available maintaining accounts receivable at 30 days and providing claims assistance.
• Deliver on specific market program objectives as outlined and directed by the Director Business Services.
• Assist on any other commercial files as directed by the Director Business Services.
• Ensure that every customer service experience demonstrates the Values of ONE Insurance and that your relationships with customers enhance ONE Insurance Groups reputation to provide and obtain information and insight on existing or potential insurance products and to ensure optimum customer satisfaction.
• Ensure active participation in community or industry associations as directed in order to develop leads increase insurance expertise expand network and to contribute to the development of ONE Insurance Groups Broker reputation as Industry Leaders.
• Meet with the Director Business Services and review management reports business plans new sales growth and customer/policy attrition and evaluate opportunities to improve performance.
• Attend participate and immediately put into practice all Professional Development Skills Training.
• Demonstrate Emotional Intelligence Leadership that will have an immediate impact on the productivity of self and organization.
• Demonstrate and communicate organizational Vision Mission and Values in all interactions.
• Attend Team meetings as required.
• Office-based role with standard weekday hours.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Minimum two (2) years of industry experience managing a comparable book of business
• Current Level 2 or 3 Manitoba Insurance License (full CAIB designation is considered a strong asset)
• Knowledge in the commercial sector is considered an asset
• Experience with other lines of insurance (Autopac AG Personal Lines) is considered an asset
• Familiarity with EPIC is considered an asset
• Organized and efficient with strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask
• Flexibility and a positive team player approach with effective communication skills
