Senior Customer Success Manager (Transformation Advisor), Enterprise Canada
Job Summary
You will be a critical partner to our customers leveraging your experience with large scale cloud and AI transformations and helping shepherd them through their stages of AWS adoption. Guiding the customer through the operational educational and governance aspects of a successful AWS cloud journey.
The successful candidate will work with the customer to design and execute strategic migrations to the AWS cloud accelerate innovation and adoption of the latest AI technologies and build modern cloud native solutions that fulfil their highest ambitions. You will interface with customer and AWS leadership driving collaboration between the other core account groups (Sales Support Solutions Architecture and Professional Services) product/engineering teams and customer teams planning and supporting major customer workload migrations and innovation objectives. You will translate strategic initiatives in the account plan into executable actions working backwards from our customers key milestones. You will manage cadence by leading the reporting and tracking functions along the way. The execution of education plans roadmap to business outcome alignments Executive Briefing Sessions and go-live events and transitions are a few items owned by the CSM that are critical to the success of our customers cloud journey.

Successful candidates will have a strong technical background be detail driven have excellent problem solving abilities and be exemplary communicators both at the executive and project team level. You will be a peer leader have the ability to gain stakeholder buy-in negotiate and lead cross-functional teams. Your enterprise cloud experience and operational excellence will influence the teams decisions provide insight and help drive secure and robust solutions.
You will evangelize AWS services and influence customers for adopting them. You should be passionate about delivering a great customer experience by deploying AWS solutions and driving innovation and also be obsessed with contributing to the day-to-day management of the customers successful migration to AWS.
Key job responsibilities
Drive measurable business outcomes by leading cloud and AI transformation engagements accelerating value realization across migration adoption and strategic technology launches.
Identify and address the systemic barriers that stall customers in their transformation journeys helping customers build the governance operating models and data infrastructure needed to sustain progress.
Initiate and lead executive-level engagements co-innovation sessions and strategic summits expanding relationships across Lines of Business Product and Technology at VP level.
Provide program-wide visibility and coordination across multiple workstreams applying structured delivery mechanisms and measurement frameworks to ensure customers realize the value of their AWS investment.
Develop repeatable mechanisms contribute to internal enablement and share best practices and thought leadership in public forums to advance the cloud ecosystem

This role sits at the intersection of technology and business strategy. You dont need to build cloud infrastructure but you need to understand it well enough to earn the trust of the engineers who do. You might translate a complex AI solution into a business case for a CFO advise a client on migrating critical workloads to the cloud and align stakeholders across a large matrixed organizations. - 8 years of leading large-scale technical or engineering programs with a proven record of thought leadership business case development realizing customer benefits and successful program completion experience
- 5 years of customer-facing work engaging with customer executives technologists or partners to solve business problems with advanced technologies experience
- Experience leading technical and non-technical transformation project teams with a proven ability to work across broad functional teams
- Experience engaging and influencing senior executives demonstrating a strong familiarity with decision-making processes in enterprise customers
- Experience implementing cloud services including migrations and modernization projects or similar
- AWS or other cloud certification

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company Amazons package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience qualifications and location.
