Job Summary
JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Manager Strategy & NPI will drive the end-to-end development of new products from identifying consumer and market need gaps to concept creation validation and final launch. The role requires strong analytical skills to translate insights into viable product opportunities and strategic recommendations. It involves close collaboration with crossfunctional teams across R&D Marketing Supply Chain Manufacturing Quality Regulatory and Finance to ensure timely and seamless execution. The role also involves driving product line extensions cost optimization initiatives and reformulation to improve portfolio profitability/meet consumer needs.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Continuously monitor industry category regulatory and competitive trends relevant to the category.
- Evaluate market size competitive moves and pricing dynamics to recommend key opportunities among the identified areas.
- Integrate customer insights medical insights and commercial feedback into product concept development.
- Collaborate with the cross-functional alignments (Marketing R&D Medical Regulatory Supply Chain Finance Quality Legal) for the categorys pipeline projects.
- Work closely with Product Development and Supply Chain to drive faster timetomarket.
- Build robust business cases for category launches line extensions and revivals.
- Coordinate financial evaluations with Finance including gross margin division margin and affordability analysis.
- Ensure documentation compliance and governance for NPI stage-gates with PPMO team for all the decided pipeline projects.
- Identify bottlenecks and proactively drive issue resolution to meet approved timelines cost targets and quality parameters.
- Align with global teams where relevant to ensure India-readiness for global launches.
Experience
Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
