The Role

Youlltake on a pivotal role where your leadership will help shapelong-termregenerationinfluencing how Cornwall grows and develops. You will help deliver major programmes that define places and communities working within a drivenambitiousand collaborative service. This is a rare opportunity to shape the future fabric of Cornwall and make a lasting impact.

We are recruiting three Senior Client Development Leads each dedicated to one of Cornwallsflagshipdevelopment preference(s)in your application:

  • LangarthGarden Village &Pydar transformational developments creating new homes neighbourhoods publicspacesand modern infrastructure.
  • Devonport &South EastCornwall regeneration powering the renewal of coastal townscommunitiesand economic centres.
  • Cornwall Airport Newquay strategic development at one of Cornwalls most important economic gateways.

You will:

  • Act as the CouncilsLeadprofessionals forone of theaboveprogrammes(combined value of 50m200m)from strategy through to delivery.
  • Strengthen governance decision-making and programme controls.
  • Oversee feasibility businesscasesand financial modelling with expert advisors.
  • Navigate complex planning land legal and commercial matters with confidence.
  • Work closely with Members senior officers advisors plannerslawyersand delivery partners to turn vision into reality.
  • Build strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.
  • Provide clearevidence basedadvice to senior leaders and Elected Members.

This is ahigh impactleadership role at the heart of Cornwallstransformation.

Working Pattern

This is a flexible hybrid role with travel to programme-related sites asrequired.

WhatYoullNeed to Succeed

You bring substantial experience in development regenerationconstructionor property and understand how major programmes come together.

A professional qualification (RICS RIBA CIOB or equivalent) isrequiredalongside strong senior-level experience.

You bring:

  • Proven experience delivering large complex development or regeneration programmes.
  • Confidence working with senior stakeholders and partners.
  • Strong understanding of development processes planning commercialframeworksand land issues.
  • The ability to navigate risk and provide clear practical advice.
  • Strong communication relationship-buildingand negotiation skills.
  • A genuine passion for delivering programmes that create meaningful impact for Cornwalls communities.
