Job Description
As a Security Officer Screener in Wichita KS you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom and more. Join Allied Universal as a Screener supporting a dynamic tech and media this role you will help monitor entry activity screen visitors and/or team members and maintain a visible presence that helps reduce security-related concerns. Bring strong customer service and communication skills while working with a team that values agility reliability innovation caring and integrity.

What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies screening protocols and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a dynamic technology location.
- Screen employees visitors packages and/or deliveries in accordance with site procedures documenting access activity and reporting unusual findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner helping to support an orderly environment during elevated activity or emergencies.
- Monitor entry points verify identification and/or credentials and help to control access to restricted areas in line with client-directed procedures.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter while observing for suspicious activity policy violations and/or conditions that may require a security-related response.
Minimum Requirements:
- CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
