Job Description
As a Security Officer Overnight in Vonore TN you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial and more. Join Allied Universal at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location where you will monitor entry points verify credentials and help support a secure environment through strong customer service and this access control role you will remain visible conduct routine patrols and assist with security-related concerns. What Youll Do:
- Provide customer service to all visitors employees and/or contractors by following site-specific access control procedures verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals at a manufacturing location.
- Monitor entry and exit points process visitor and delivery registrations and report unusual activity access issues and/or policy concerns to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
- Respond to incidents alarms and critical situations in a calm problem-solving manner including supporting site emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned production warehouse office and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
- Complete required logs reports and communication records related to access events incidents and/or daily activities in accordance with post instructions.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.
