Job Summary
Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced Security Technician to join an active installation project in Yorba Linda CA. This is an immediate start opportunity. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience running structured cabling and installing Axis cameras and access control devices in commercial environments. This role requires someone who can work independently follow specs and keep pace on a fast-moving job.
Key Responsibilities
- Pull and terminate Cat6 cable to Cat6 biscuits for RJ45 jack housing
- Install and mount Axis cameras in drop ceiling environments across 11 floors
- Install access control devices per project plans and specifications
- Work from blueprints and technical drawings to ensure accurate placement and installation
- Maintain clean safe and organized work areas throughout the project
- Coordinate with project leads and other trades as needed to keep work on schedule
Required Qualifications
- 2 years of hands-on commercial security installation experience
- Direct experience installing Axis cameras in commercial settings
- Proficiency pulling routing and terminating Cat6 structured cabling
- Comfortable working in drop ceiling environments and large-scale commercial builds
- Ability to read and interpret installation plans and technical specs
- Access control installation experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and ability to commute within 50 miles of Yorba Linda CA
- Must pass background check and drug screen
Compensation and Benefits
- Pay range: $28-$32 per hour based on experience
