Job Summary

Electronic Health Records Trainer

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Electronic Health Records Trainer to join our team. As an Electronic Health Records Trainer you will be responsible for conducting on-site training for Epic EHR to clinical and non-clinical end-users. You will serve as a subject matter expert to provide ongoing support troubleshooting and training to ensure the efficient and effective use of the EHR system and other related applications.

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct role-based training sessions and provide follow-up/reinforcement training as needed.
  • Provide ongoing EHR support to users by answering questions troubleshooting issues and addressing concerns.
  • Contribute to the development of training materials to support end-users in effectively utilizing the Epic system.
  • Collaborate with vendors and IT teams to troubleshoot technical problems and communicate user needs for system improvements.
  • Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics.
  • Assist with general IT functions including user support system issues and operational initiatives.

Qualifications:
  • Prior EHR training and/or Epic experience (Preferred)
  • Bachelors degree (or equivalent in experience related to the position) (Required)
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience working with electronic health record systems preferably in a training or support capacity.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to convey technical information clearly and effectively to audiences with various levels of computer knowledge.
