We are seeking a highly organized Admissions Officer to join a reputable school in Bromley. You will be the primary architect of the enrolment process guiding families through the transition from primary to secondary education and managing the complex logistics of mid-year transfers.
Core Responsibilities
Admissions Lifecycle Management: Overseeing the entire application process for Year 7 entry In-Year admissions and Sixth Form enrolment in accordance with the School Admissions Code.
Parental Liaison: Acting as the first point of professional contact for prospective families conducting school tours and providing expert advice on catchments appeals and entry requirements.
Data Integrity: Maintaining an accurate and up-to-date admissions database (e.g. SIMS Arbor or Bromcom) ensuring all student files are compliant with GDPR and safeguarding regulations.
Transition Coordination: Working closely with local primary schools and the Local Authority to ensure a seamless Step Up process including the management of induction days and transition data.
Marketing & Outreach: Collaborating with Senior Leadership to organize Open Days producing high-quality prospectus materials and analysing local demographic trends to support pupil recruitment.

Candidate Profile
Experience: Proven experience in an admissions registrar or high-level customer-facing administrative role (experience within an educational setting is highly preferred).

Communication: Flawless written and spoken English with the soft skills required to handle sensitive conversations regarding school places and appeals.
