3 Months Contract with Local Authority
Summary
- The Resident Liaison Officer (RLO) will be integral to supporting Enfield Councils energy-efficiency and retrofit programs facilitating major works across council homes. The role ensures residents are informed supported and engaged throughout these projects. Responsibilities include facilitating property access identifying resident needs and serving as the primary liaison between residents contractors technical teams and program managers. The RLO is committed to delivering retrofit and major works with excellent customer care clear communication and minimal disruption to residents.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the main point of contact for residents during retrofit and major works projects.
- Design and implement effective consultation activities to keep residents informed and engaged.
- Produce newsletters notices and written communications; utilize social media to update residents as appropriate.
- Provide clear advice information and support to residents ensuring accessibility and inclusivity.
- Maintain a courteous professional standard of communication including accurate spoken English.
Essential Experience Required
- Experience with retrofit decarbonization or energy-efficiency projects.
- Experience in social housing local authority environments or with contractors delivering housing works.
- Experience working with local authority councillors or political representatives.
Essential Qualifications Required
- No specific qualifications are strictly required; however experience in housing resident engagement construction sustainability or property services is highly beneficial.
Additional Information
- Working hours: 35 hours per week
- Flexibility: The role is 5 days per week with consideration for part-time (3 or 4 days per week). Fully flexible role.
- Hybrid Role: Tuesdays are office-based with other days being remote and/or attending appointments/site visits.
- Payment Schedule: Bi-weekly
- Application Deadline: The role closes on 13th April 2026 apply ASAP.
