Role :
The Test Lead will be responsible for managing end-to-end testing of Trade Finance instruments including Letter of Credit (Import & Export) Export / Import Bills Loan Against Trust Receipt (LTR) Shipping Guarantee Collections Bill Discounting / Negotiation et al
The role will cover multiple testing phases including System Integration Testing (SIT) User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Data Migration Testing Regression Testing Interface & Integration Testing
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage Trade Finance testing activities across modules and releases
Work closely with Business Users and Testing Team to ensure complete test coverage of all features and regulatory requirements
Define test strategy test plan and approach for different test phases
Ensure coverage of functional scenarios negative cases boundary conditions and compliance validations
Manage defect lifecycle triage discussions and closure tracking
Coordinate with development and integration teams for issue resolution
Validate accounting entries limit checks compliance validations and SWIFT message integrations
Ensure proper documentation of test artifacts and traceability matrix
Support go-live readiness and production validation
Technical & Functional Skills
Strong domain & testing knowledge in Trade Finance products and lifecycle
Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards (MT700MT754 MT103 MT202 etc.)
Understanding of UCP guidelines issued by International Chamber of Commerce
Exposure to Core Banking and Trade Finance systems (Accounting and GL Checks)
Hands-on exposure to automation testing tools such as Selenium Appium
Basic understanding of performance testing concepts
Experience with automation framework design is an added advantage

Strong coordination and stakeholder management skills
Ability to work closely with business and technical teams
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and reporting capability
