- Position Brief - Venue Duty Officer
Were seeking a proactive and hands-on Venue Duty Officers to oversee on-the-floor operations across our City sporting venues particularly outside standard business hours. This is a key operational role responsible for ensuring venues operate safely efficiently and deliver a high-quality experience for all users.
About the role
As a Venue Duty Officer you will provide operational leadership during events and after-hours periods supporting the smooth delivery of services across the venue. Youll work closely with clients staff and contractors to coordinate activities manage competing priorities and maintain high standards across all areas of operation.
This role requires a strong on-the-ground presence with a focus on safety customer experience and effective team coordination. From overseeing event delivery to supporting food and beverage operations and ensuring facilities are set up and maintained to standard you will play a critical role in the day-to-day success of our venues.

About you
Youre a confident and adaptable professional who thrives in a fast-paced hands-on environment. With strong communication and interpersonal skills you build positive relationships with clients contractors and team members while providing clear and supportive direction to staff.
Youre organised proactive and able to manage competing priorities responding effectively to challenges as they arise. You take pride in maintaining high standards with a strong focus on safety and customer experience. Experience in venue event hospitality or facilities operations will be highly regarded.
