Job Summary
Purpose and Scope
This part-time role of Girls Intervention and Prevention Summer - PT is ideal for educators looking for flexible or extra work while still making a significant impact on students over the summer. The primary focus is to assist in an accelerated learning environment helping students boost their readiness for college careers and community engagement through a summer leadership program. This position will work in a specialized setting with an emphasis on mentoring and student development offering a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the educational community during the summer.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited college or university with Bachelors degree in Education or a related area plus a minimum of two (2) years of successful classroom experience as a teacher or teacher type. A valid Tennessee professional teachers license is required. The position is governed by the Rules and Regulations of the Tennessee Code Annotated and the collective bargaining agreement. (PROOF OF EDUCATION TRAINING AND/OR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED).
Degree Equivalency Formula:
Bachelors Degree 4 years plus required years of experience.
Masters Degree6 years plus required years of experience.
