Job Summary
Job Summary (List Format):
- Operate monitor and troubleshoot complex manufacturing equipment to ensure production meets area requirements.
- Work with engineers on set-up calibration rework and quality testing of parts components subassemblies and final assemblies.
- Use sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data and make on-line adjustments to equipment or products.
- Follow all operating procedures and quality standards to the highest level.
- Collaborate with manufacturing associates engineering quality and leadership to execute production requirements.
- Support engineering experiments and operational improvement initiatives as needed.
- Participate in teams to identify and implement improvement opportunities within the production area.
- Assist in developing and refining manufacturing methods and procedures.
- Acquire job skills and learn company policies/procedures to perform routine tasks.
- Receive detailed instructions and work on assignments that are routine in nature with limited independent judgment and decision-making.
- Maintain a safe work environment and address any unsafe or hazardous situations.
- Meet quality efficiency and safety requirements and standards.
- Read and interpret schematics/blueprints and apply knowledge of test equipment.
- Report non-conformances and complete necessary documentation (NCEs).
- Participate in root cause investigations using basic troubleshooting tools.
- Work independently on routine tasks with little supervision; partner with senior staff for complex decisions.
- Participate actively in daily improvement processes and maintain 5S in work area.
- Complete all required training and maintain accurate training records.
- Conduct inventory transactions to maintain system integrity.
- Process work orders and utilize Oracle/Agile systems for documentation and accuracy.
- Maintain regular punctual attendance and adhere to the production schedule including overtime as needed.
Physical Demands:
- Sit stand walk reach stoop kneel crouch or crawl as needed.
- Lift move and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds.
- Exposure to moving mechanical parts vibration moderate noise hazardous chemicals (e.g. IPA acetone specific metals) high voltage electronics and radiation.
- Work in environments such as clean rooms controlled environments or dark rooms with proper PPE provided.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate Degree may be beneficial.
- 0 1 years of relevant experience.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel Word SharePoint OneDrive).
- Ability to read understand and follow written procedures and communicate effectively.
- Detail-oriented accurate high focus on quality able to work independently and in teams.
- Must be able to read write and understand English.
- Beneficial: Experience with Oracle ERP Agile PLM and knowledge of ESD handling best practices.
