Summary:
-
Design manufacturing processes procedures and production layouts for assemblies equipment installation machining processing and material handling.

Plan machine and equipment arrangements within plant facilities to ensure efficient and productive workflow.

Design sequences of operations and specify procedures for fabrication of tools equipment and other functions affecting product performance.

Adapt machine or equipment designs to factory and production conditions.

Incorporate inspection and test requirements into production plans as needed.

Inspect machinery equipment and tools to verify efficiency and initiate corrective actions to address problems or deficiencies.

Develop manufacturing processes applicable to statistical process control and implement related techniques.

Provide guidance to engineering teams regarding design concepts and specification requirements to optimize equipment and manufacturing techniques.

Ensure all processes and procedures comply with relevant regulations.
Requirements:
-
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Aerospace or Materials Engineering (or equivalent experience)

5 years of experience with composite main-rotor blade systems; experience with UH-60M systems highly desired

3 years conducting Bond Cycle Certification for blade bonding tools

Proven track record troubleshooting blade-level faults

Experience using SAP and Solumina
-
Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).
Desired Qualifications:

SAP proficiency
-
Six Sigma Green Belt AS9100 auditor or similar quality-system credentials
-
Experience with UH-60M main-rotor blade systems
