We are seeking a Junior Lab Technician Hardware Validation to join our team. This role will involve hands-on hardware setup system configuration and lab environment management to support validation of PCIe endpoint devices. The ideal candidate will have experience in hardware assembly operating systems (Windows/Linux) and lab operations along with a passion for semiconductor and SoC validation environments.

Job Description: The Junior Lab Technician Hardware Validation will play a critical role in supporting hardware validation programs by building configuring and maintaining test systems. The Junior Lab Technician Hardware Validation will work closely with validation engineers to ensure proper system bring-up and execution of tests. This Junior Lab Technician Hardware Validation position is ideal for someone early in their career who is eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced SoC lab environment. The Junior Lab Technician Hardware Validation will also ensure lab organization hardware tracking and adherence to ESD safety standards. Overall the Junior Lab Technician Hardware Validation will contribute significantly to the success of hardware validation cycles.
Key Responsibilities: System Assembly & Configuration (0 2 years experience):
Build configure and maintain desktop and server test systems including BIOS setup PCIe card installation and power supply management.
Hardware Bring-Up Support (0 2 years experience):
Assist engineers with system setup cabling and deployment of validation environments.
OS & Environment Management (1 3 years experience):
Install configure and maintain Windows and Linux systems including imaging updates and network configuration.
Lab Operations & Maintenance (0 2 years experience):
Maintain a clean organized and ESD-safe lab; manage hardware inventory and coordinate equipment calibration.
Basic Debugging & Test Execution (1 2 years experience):
Run automated scripts capture logs and assist in reproducing hardware-related issues.
Equipment Handling (0 2 years experience):
Handle sensitive silicon components development boards and lab equipment safely.
Required Skills & Qualifications: Hands-on experience in a hardware lab environment (0 2 years; academic or professional).
Strong understanding of computer architecture and system assembly (0 2 years).
Proficiency in Windows and Linux operating systems (1 3 years).
Ability to read and follow technical documentation and setup instructions (0 2 years).
Nice to Have (Bonus Skills): Exposure to scripting languages such as Python Tcl Bash or PowerShell (0 2 years).
Experience with soldering or board-level modifications (0 1 year).
Familiarity with FPGA-based systems (0 1 year).
