Job Summary
Job Title: AI Agent Engineer (LLM RAG Autonomous Systems-14 Yrs Exp)
Location: Austin TX - Hybrid- Local candidates Only
We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following qualification
- Research design develop implement and manage scalable software programs and AI-driven solutions
- Design and develop autonomous AI agents and agentic workflows for process automation and intelligent decision-making
- Build and deploy production-grade AI/ML solutions with a focus on reliability and scalability
- Develop and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures using vector databases
- Work extensively with frameworks such as LangChain LangGraph CrewAI and AutoGPT
- Apply strong context engineering techniques to optimize LLM performance and outputs
- Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) using APIs such as OpenAI Hugging Face and Azure AI
- Implement and extend Model Context Protocol (MCP) for secure and standardized access to local and remote data sources
- Develop and enforce AI governance practices including model lifecycle management and evaluation
- Implement AI guardrails safety controls and content filtering mechanisms
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations including handling of sensitive data (PII/PHI)
- Optimize LLM performance token usage and cost efficiency
- Design and implement multi-agent systems and autonomous workflows
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers UX designers and business/system analysts
- Conduct testing evaluation and continuous improvement of AI models and applications
- Troubleshoot debug and enhance existing AI/ML systems and software applications
- Support enterprise-scale AI deployments with focus on scalability reliability and performance
- Apply best practices in software engineering including version control CI/CD and agile methodologies
- Experience in AI/ML engineering or advanced data science
- Proven experience building and deploying production-grade autonomous AI agents
- Strong hands-on experience in context engineering for LLM-based systems
- Deep expertise with LangChain LangGraph CrewAI or AutoGPT
- Experience implementing RAG architectures using vector databases
- Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (OpenAI Hugging Face Azure AI)
- Experience integrating LLMs via APIs
- Strong knowledge of AI governance model lifecycle management and evaluation frameworks
- Experience implementing Model Context Protocol (MCP) for secure data access
- Experience implementing AI guardrails safety mechanisms and content filtering
- Strong understanding of data privacy and handling sensitive data (PII/PHI)
- Experience building multi-agent or autonomous agentic workflows
- Experience optimizing LLM cost token usage and inference performance
- Familiarity with enterprise AI deployment patterns and scalable architectures
