Trial & Litigation Associate
About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Litigation Attorney with 3 7 years of experience to join the Trial and Litigation Practice Group. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex and impactful litigation matters within a highly collaborative and intellectually engaging environment.
The position is available in Los Angeles San Diego or Oakland.
In this role you will work closely with experienced litigators while playing a meaningful part in shaping litigation strategy and advocating on behalf of clients in significant legal matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage litigation matters from early case assessment through trial preparation and appeal
- Conduct legal research and develop strategic litigation approaches
- Draft and argue motions pleadings and other legal filings
- Manage discovery processes including electronic discovery
- Develop case strategies and collaborate with internal litigation teams
- Represent clients in both state and federal court proceedings
- Work on complex matters involving constitutional law public entity litigation and civil rights claims
Qualifications:
- 3 7 years of litigation experience
- Experience representing public entity clients
- Familiarity with government claims procedures
- Experience handling litigation involving cities counties and special districts
- Knowledge of constitutional and statutory defenses
- Strong experience with law and motion practice
- Experience managing complex litigation matters
- Familiarity with electronic discovery
- Experience practicing in state and federal courts

Compensation & Benefits:
This role offers a competitive compensation package designed to reward experience and performance.
- Salary Range: $180000 $235000
- Compensation will depend on factors including years of experience qualifications skills and office location
