Job Title: Field Service Technician II - Copiers & Printers

Job Summary
We are seeking a hands-onField Service Technician IIto join our dedicated service team in Beaverton. They will be responsible for the on-site maintenance diagnostics and repair of company supported digital imaging equipment including copiers printers and multi-function devices (MFPs). They will thrive in a fast-paced 24/7 customer-driven environment where technical responsiveness and high service standards are essential to maintaining client uptime.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and complex break/fix repairs on digital imaging equipment (copiers printers MFPs).
- Respond quickly and professionally to on-site customer service calls within the assigned Beaverton territory.
- Conduct technical diagnostics to identify hardware and software malfunctions in multi-function imaging devices.
- Maintain accurate and timely service logs including detailed Field Service Reports and Expense Reports.
- Document and report product failure trends and recurring serviceability issues to management with supporting data.
- Ensure all assigned client equipment consistently meets or exceeds operational performance standards.
- Act as a professional brand ambassador for the company providing excellent communication and customer support.
- Adhere strictly to customer-specific site protocols including safety measures and security clearances.
- Deliver exceptional service in a 24/7 environment ensuring maximum equipment uptime for critical business operations.
- Manage a local parts inventory to ensure the necessary components are available for first-time-fix resolutions.
- Participate in continuous technical training to stay current on the latest company digital imaging technologies.
- Coordinate with the dispatch team to optimize daily service routes and meet customer response-time SLAs.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- HS Diploma GED or equivalent experience required
- 1-2 years of related technical experience (Associate level)
- Valid drivers license and an acceptable driving record for field travel
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment including shift work and on-call rotations
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and remain active (walking/standing) 50% of the time
- Must obtain security clearances and comply with customer-specific health protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot internet environments and networked imaging devices.
- Ability to successfully complete the 120-day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) class.
- Strong customer-facing skills with the ability to navigate high-pressure service environments.
- High attention to detail regarding service records and trend reporting.
