Waste Coordinator

Job Summary
Specific Duties and Responsibilities
Characterize and classifywastestreams in accordance with provincial and federal regulations.
Review SDSs analytical reports CSRs and other regulatory documents to ensure accuratewasteprofiling.
Coordinate with disposal/treatment facilities to obtainwasteapprovals and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
Collaborate with Operations to alignwastetreatment methods incoming volumes and planning requirements.
Support day-to-day field operations with documentation instructions and service coordination.
Provide guidance on documentation regulatory obligations andwasteacceptance processes.
Ensure accurate and timely data entry in internal systems including customer setup andwasteprofiles.
Generate operational compliance and management reports as requested.
Facility maintenanceincluding contractor management & record keeping
Other duties as required.
Experience Qualifications and Education
High school diploma required; post-secondary education in environmental science environmental engineering chemistry or related field is an asset.
13 years of experience inwastemanagement industrial services logistics coordination or a related field preferred.
Class 5 drivers license and reliable transportation.
Ability to interpret laboratory data and apply it towastecharacterization and regulatory requirements.
Knowledge of TDG regulations and provincialwasteregulations is an asset.
Proficiency with Google Workspace is an asset.

Strong communication skills and excellent attention to detail in documentation.
Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Strong organizational planning and problem-solving skills; project management abilities are an asset.
