Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth were looking to add a Process Engineering Sr Manager (SMT) located in Guadalajara North Campus.
Reporting to the Director Operations Engineering the role is responsible for managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
- Establish and improve process capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications delivery and cost expectations.
- Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Improve throughput in constrained areas.
- Develop test and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
- Partner with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
Experience were looking to add to our team:
- BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
- 5 years of experience as a Process Engineering Manager or Senior Process Engineer.
- Strong experience in SMT manufacturing processes from solder paste printing through final assembly including critical and advanced assemblies with high levels of automation.
- Extensive technical background in process engineering with strong problemsolving and optimization capabilities.
- Intermediate to Advanced English proficiency able to effectively communicate with customers and deliver presentations.
- Proven experience in people management including leading and developing engineering teams.
- Hands-on experience implementing PokaYoke (errorproofing) solutions.
- Experience with liquid cooling technologies is a plus (nice to have).
