What Youll Be Doing
Carry out general grounds maintenance duties such as litter picking shoveling and site clean-up
Use hand tools and equipment (e.g. litter pickers shovels and other maintenance tools) safely and effectively
Work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions
Work independently while coordinating with team members to ensure efficient daily operations
Work extended daily schedules of up to 11 hours with the possibility of reaching 60 hours per week on a semi-regular basis
Adapt to varying start and end times depending on site needs and weather conditions
Work Saturdays as required including extended hours around Statutory Holidays
Perform physically demanding tasks including walking standing bending kneeling and lifting materials up to 50 lbs on uneven terrain
Communicate effectively with supervisors team members and members of the public
Heres What You Need
High school diploma or equivalent experience
Valid G Class Drivers License
Able to lift parts or pieces weighing 50 lbs on your own throughout a shift
Able to work outside in all weather conditions throughout the year
Experience operating a skid steer/man lift equipment
DZ Class Drivers License is an asset
