Receptionist/Administrator
Clifton Park Hospital - York
Full Time 37.5 hours per week
3 week shift pattern 8am - 4pm 9am - 5pm 12pm - 8pm
(to be flexible around annual leave and sickness for business needs)
Summary
Clifton Park Hospital opened in 2006 and is located just outside York. The modern purpose built hospital has been rated Good by the Care Quality Commission (CQC) and has first-class medical facilities including 24 beds two theatres a day case unit a large outpatient department with X-ray facilities and on-site physiotherapy including a small gym 2018 the hospital opened a new outpatient department with 11 consulting rooms two treatment rooms and x-ray facilities.
The role
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist/Administrator to join our Outpatients Department.
This is an extremely busy role liaising with patients Consultants and all hospital need an individual with a professional approach excellent verbal communication skills initiative the ability to work within a team and must be computer literate experience with Word and Outlook being essential.
What you will bring with you
Maths/English to GCSE level or equivalent
Proven organisational and communication skills at all levels both written and oral.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including databases
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues and consultants on a day to day basis applying appropriate methods and interpersonal skills
Positive willing attitude
Self-motivated and possess strong organisational interpersonal and above all customer service skills.
