About the Team:
As a core member of our Middle Office Solutions team you will be working with some of the industrys most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon. The Middle Office Solutions team (MOS) provides an extensive suite of middle office solutions including Trade Operations CollateralOperations OTC Settlements and Treasury & Cash Management to our clients. Using our innovative proprietary technology MOS offer these services across all business lines.
Responsibilities
- This is a management level position responsible for managing the daily operations of the MOS team in Mumbai handling treasury (wire) OTC settlements collateral and trade operations processes on behalf of all clients.
- You will be closely involved in the day-to-day operations.
- You will assist with the continued growth of a best-in-class MOS Mumbai operations team supporting the global MOS team particularly our North American clients and working alongside our North American MOS teams.
- You will provide oversight & support to AVPs to ensure that the day-to-day operations are completed accurately timely and mitigate against risk
- You will coach develop and provide guidance to AVPs and more junior MOS team members while creating an environment that motivates rewards and supports the team.
- People Management resource planning performance management & day to day team operations management as well as succession planning.
- Regular Evaluation/Improvement of control environment and risk management processes.
- You will encourage teams to be proactive in identifying potential issues and escalate where appropriate.
- You will be responsible for tracking and managing risk events for the MOS Mumbai team including accurate and timely incident recording and completion of action plans providing risk reporting to global stakeholders.
- Initiate & participate in a range of MOS local & global projects and initiatives. Interacting with other Citco global offices and technology groups. You will support the team to ensure projects are planned coordinated and seen through to completion.
Qualifications
- You have a bachelors degree in accounting / finance / economics or comparable Middle Office experience.
- You have 12 years experience in the Hedge Fund industry with strong knowledge of treasury OTC settlement collateral and trade operations.
- You have strong product knowledge of OTC derivatives equity swaps fixed income products options futures forwards and all equity-underlying products.
- You have a sound understanding of the OTC trade workflow and its related cash settlements.
- You have minimum 6 years experience successfully managing a large team.
- You have strong project management skills with proven record of accomplishment.
- You have proven client relationship skills.
- You have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office.
