This position reports to:

Operations Manager

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to ensure efficient and cost-effective production results. Each day you will be responsible to meet order demand specifications quality and planning targets through the coordination and management of plant equipment personnel and production processes (quantity quality budgeted costs and proper productivity level). You will also showcase your expertise by developing programs projects goals and metrics to lead the organization to the highest level of operational performance while optimizing working capital throughout Operations.

The work model for the role is: Onsite in Houston TX. #LI-Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Preparing annual production budget overseeing progress and determining actions to cost issues as necessary to manage operations within the budget and resources.

  • Developing and executing plans to reduce non-value-added costs increase revenues and delight customers by delivering products on time with high factory and supplier yields and decreasing product field failure rates.

  • Ensuring that Four Quadrants (4Q) program training and methods are implemented in the organization.

  • Providing support as required during customer visits to explain the capabilities of the manufacturing facilities.

Qualifications for the role

  • Bachelors Degree with 10 years of experience orAssociates Degree/HS Diploma with 12 years of experience is required. Experience in production lines/fabrication area working as production supervisor with Process Analytical products or project integration is preferred.

  • Demonstrated experience working on a production line.(Supervisory experience is an advantage.)

  • Knowledge of ERP system and SAP

  • A collaborative solution-focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills (in English)

  • Candidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
