Job Summary
Salary: 25989 - 26824 (37 hours full time equivalent)
Hours of work: 25 hoursterm time only (38 weeks per year)

The Governors are seeking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Classroom Assistant to join our team on a full time basis. Initially the role will be based within our Year 4 cohort for Term 6; however the successful candidate should be flexible and willing to work across any year group from September. This is an excellent opportunity for a caring and adaptable individual to support pupils learning and development within a welcoming and supportive school environment.

We are seeking a committed and capable Classroom Assistant who:
- Has a solid educational background (including English and Maths) and a commitment to ongoing professional development
- Brings experience of supporting childrens learning ideally across a range of abilities including those with additional needs
- Is confident in helping to raise pupil attainment including delivering targeted support or catch-up interventions
- Demonstrates strong communication organisation and behaviour management skills
- Can contribute positively to classroom planning and work effectively under the direction of the class teacher
- Is a calm patient and consistent presenceable to build trust and respect with pupils through a gentle but firm approach
- Works well as part of a team showing flexibility and a willingness to support the wider needs of the school
- Is supportive of and sensitive to the schools Christian ethos
