Job Summary
Preferred Care at Home of East Tennessee is seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide high-quality in-home care to our clients in Rocky Top TN. As a Caregiver you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for seniors and adults with disabilities by offering personalized care and support in the comfort of their own homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with activities of daily living including bathing dressing grooming and mobility
- Provide medication reminders and monitor clients well-being
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry and cleaning
- Offer companionship and emotional support to clients
- Communicate effectively with clients families and healthcare professionals
- Maintain accurate records of care and report any changes in client condition
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous caregiving or healthcare experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to pass background checks and drug screening
- Reliable transportation to travel to client homes in Rocky Top TN
- Compassionate patient and respectful approach to caregiving
- Availability to work flexible hours including weekends if needed
