We are seeking a dedicated Religious Education Teacher to join a vibrant and diverse secondary school in Bradford. The Role
As a Religious Education Teacher you will be a key member of a collaborative Humanities department. You will deliver a thought-provoking curriculum across KS3 and KS4 with the potential to lead A-Level Philosophy and Ethics for a candidate with the right expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Philosophical Inquiry: Encouraging students to engage with complex ethical dilemmas from social justice and human rights to medical ethics.
Theology & Worldviews: Delivering engaging units on the six major world religions as well as non-religious worldviews like Humanism.
Critical Thinking: Developing students ability to analyze sacred texts evaluate diverse perspectives and construct well-supported arguments.
Exam Success: Preparing students for GCSE Religious Studies focusing on high-level evaluative writing and source analysis.

About You
We are looking for an educator who believes that RE is essential for navigating the complexities of the 21st century.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Religious Studies Philosophy or Theology.
Has a proven ability to manage sensitive classroom discussions with objectivity and empathy.
Is passionate about promoting British values tolerance and community cohesion.
Possesses strong literacy skills and the ability to inspire students of all prior attainment levels.
