The Role
As a Physics Teacher you will be the lead specialist for your subject within the Science faculty. You will deliver high-impact practical-based lessons across KS3 and KS4 with a significant opportunity to lead A-Level Physics for a candidate with strong theoretical knowledge and a passion for post-16 success.
Key Responsibilities:
Conceptual Mastery: Teaching core topics including Newtonian mechanics electricity waves radioactivity and astrophysics.
Practical Innovation: Designing and supervising sophisticated experiments that bridge the gap between abstract mathematical formulas and physical reality.
Mathematical Support: Helping students develop the advanced numeracy skills required to excel in the Physics specification.
STEM Leadership: Driving the schools extracurricular STEM program including engineering challenges astronomy clubs and university prep.

About You
We are looking for a thinker and a doersomeone who can explain the Big Bang and then help a student build a functional circuit.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Physics or a closely related Engineering field.
Has a proven track record of securing excellent outcomes at GCSE and/or A-Level.
Possesses strong classroom management skills and a commitment to meticulous Health & Safety standards.
Is an effective communicator who can tailor complex scientific concepts to students of all ability levels.
