We are seeking an energetic Business Studies Teacher to join a forward-thinking and collaborative department in Bolton. The Role
As a Business Studies Teacher you will be a key driver of the schools vocational and academic success. You will deliver high-quality lessons across KS4 and KS5 with the opportunity to teach GCSE Business (9-1) BTEC Tech Awards or A-Level Business depending on your expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
Real-World Application: Teaching core pillars of business including Marketing Finance Operations and Human Resources through contemporary case studies (e.g. Netflix Tesla and local SMEs).
Enterprise Leadership: Coordinating Dragons Den style competitions and enterprise weeks to develop students practical entrepreneurial skills.
Exam Excellence: Guiding students through the rigors of Edexcel AQA or OCR specifications focusing on evaluative essay writing and quantitative data analysis.
Vocational Guidance: Supporting BTEC students through their internal assessments and ensuring all coursework meets high external moderation standards.

About You

The Ideal Candidate:
Holds QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a relevant degree in Business Economics or Finance.
Has a proven track record of securing strong outcomes in GCSE or BTEC Level 2/3 Business.
Is an effective communicator who can build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds.
Possesses strong ICT skills and a commitment to staying updated on current global economic trends.
