What awaits you/ Job Profile	Responsible for the planning and specification of mechanical retrofits of test vehicles within vehicle development projects. In close cooperation with colleagues from the development procurement and production areas you will elaborate and agree on an adequate time table for the retrofit define the scope of hardware and software components that need to be converted ensure a timely hand-over to procurement prepare the necessary documentation for the workshop and ensure the timely completion and communication with the users of the test vehicles. You work as the central contact person of the retrofit from project planning up to handover of the completed test vehicles to the users. This requires intensive coordination and communication with all process partners within the vehicle project. Using the central retrofit planning tool APEX-Umruestplanung and other IT systems you plan and document the retrofit according to BMW standards and in close cooperation with all process partners.
What should you bring along	A keen eye for detail and a strong analytical mindset Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
Must have technical skill	Degree in MINT technology with a focus on automotive engineering logistics computer science industrial engineering etc. Vehicle knowledge (deep technical understanding of components and their interactions vehicle technology and automotive technologies etc.). Affinity for BMW IT systems (APEX-Umruestplanung DAVE SPEED a4m1 VDM etc.).
Good to have Technical skills	Experience in project work very good project planning skills. Experience in working together with European business partners. Very good English communication skills. High interpersonal skills. Excellent written and spoken English skills. Attention to detail. Meticulous way of working. Ability to self-organize and structure in volatile environments.
