Job Description for EOT Cranes Standardisation and Optimization Design Engineer (Team Member SOP)
Grades P1.1 & P1.2
1. Perform design calculation of crane and its components.
and modify 3d models and assembly drawings using computer-aided design (cad) software.(Hands on experience in Autocad ( 2D) Solidworks /3D Modelling Software)
analysis of the library components and their optimization to meet the Crane standards.
formulae and mechanisms to optimize the design output.
4. Also do a cost analysis of different components in cranes to optimize the output for bid support team.
5. Experience in Working in Design and Drawing Automation.
6. From time to timehe must be prepared to undertake tasks outside of their normal duties as requested by their immediate supervisors.
basic stress analysis in solidworks alongwith hand calculations for the optimization of crane components.
in crane feild is desired and also knowledge of different materials which can substitute the legacy material by weight reduction.
knowledge of working of cranesgearboxmotorsstructural design etc.
Experience : 9 to 15 years
