Meet our Team
Hitachi Digital Services Japan which is the HDSs Japan country office is strengthening its offshore engineering services leveraging development centers in Vietnam and India building a global delivery structure that combines high quality and cost competitiveness.
What youll be doing
Lead and manage end-to-end software projects ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders communicating in Japanese and English.
Manage scope timelines and resources using Agile/Kanban and tools like Jira or Notion.
Work with AWS (S3 Athena Lambda) and Azure (Blob Functions Logic Apps) to support system operations.
Monitor data pipelines and reports (Power BI) and manage master data (e.g. Airtable).
Adapt to or support projects in the hospitality domain.
Be open to onsite work in Tokyo Japan.
What you bring to the team
Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology Computer Science Computer Engineering or a related field.
4 years in IT project management including 2 years with Japanese clients.
Japanese (business/native) English (business) and Vietnamese (business).
Strong Agile project management experience and knowledge of SDLC.
Basic understanding of data pipelines data warehouse/lake concepts.
Experience with AWS/Azure and Power BI is a plus.
Hospitality domain experience and PMP certification are preferred.
